The Tanto (Sideport 1.0) Diamond Knife was designed in collaboration with ophthalmic surgeons Jeshal Patel, MD, and Robert Stegmann, MD, of Johannesburg, South Africa.

Features:

  • Ultra-thin blade design (100-120 μm) with neutral faceting bias.
  • Safety‑beveled vertical side that prevents cutting, while the oblique sharp edges allow one‑directional wound enlargement.
  • Straight dop mounting, allowing for rotation for bidirectional enlargement.
